woman's make up aplicator for wax & polish...

well i was wondering if they are good to use on cars....
one of the applicators that i've found felt like a rubber sponge but very soft....
and i don't think they will absorb too much Zaino...
and if it does absorb... zaino can easily be sqqeezed out of it....

anybody tried this b4?

let me know what you guys think...

i might just give it a try this week....

the whole point if this is to have a applicator that doesn't soak up too much..... i just don't wanna just my bare hands

it's just a little sponge right? that's like cleaning the exterior of your car with a toothbrush!!!!!

Spend some money - get a waxing pad - it's a sponge too!! it's just about 4inches round, much bigger and I would assume easier than using a small sponge.

I think I know where you were going with the questions though, you thought since the make-up spinges would be really really non-abrassive - might work?

Kind of like thoes old timers that swear they only use "diapers" to wipe down their car. Remember Ferris Bulers Day Off - "no, ferris you don't understand, he doesn't drive the car he just comes out hee an rubbs it with a diaper" BEST MOVIE!

Meguiars makes some very reasonable foam applicator pads. That's all I use.

well those sponges have a rubber texture and is very soft and dense....
i really doubt its gonna scratch.... but thats just what i think maybe i'm wrong...
but i'm just trying to see if any body has tried using them to wax or polish cars....
if anyody knows that it is harmful to our car paint then please let me know....
SOrry guys.... it just feels like those "make up" sponges can be just as a good as an applicator for wax and polish...

It looks like this PVA sponge...at this website
