Wiring Help (Remote Start)

I was wondering if any of you know an easy way to feed wires from the Engine to the Cabin, or vice versa. I found one hole in the firewall but I think that it would be too difficult to get wires through that hole. I remember reading somewhere that you needed a 90 degree right angle drill? In any case I installed an add-on remote start last night (Working great) and I would like to get the tach feature working, also maybe install some LED's to light up the Acura sign on the front grill. Anyways any help is appreciated. Also if any of you need help on installing a remote start for your car I can take some pics and make a mini DIY. They are pretty cheap on ebay.

you should be able to tap into the tach signal under teh dash, and above teh parking brake there is a rubber grommet you can push wires thru

Thanks Kris, You wouldn't happen to know which wire is the tach would you? All of the wiring diagrams say that the tach is a blue wire on the driverside shock tower which I found. Having the tach wire in the cabin would be so much easier. Thanks again for your help.

50$ for the remote start unit plus 10$ for the bypass module. Installation was quoted at $270 but I did it myself, and it was pretty easy.

Hello everyone, Kris,
Do you know which wire is the door unlock wire? I need the actual wire that goes to the unlock actuator. The problem now i have is i have the sense wire connected to the unlock wire, but it doesnt change state when i press unlock. It stays on until i press lock. So the input wire needs to recognize the input signals before it remote starts. So what i have to do now is press unlock, lock, unlock, lock, unlock for it to remote start. And that will only unlock the drivers side. I figure if i can connect the sensing wire to the actuator i can just press unlock three times which would remote start the car and unlock all doors. It can be + or - as long as it changes states. Thanks in advance.

(I also took the door apart and i couldn't figure out which wire it was as well as track that wire through the loom. I figure someone has the wiring guide to the fusebox.)

Ill try and take some pictures and write something up quick when i get a chance. Basically just follow the wire guide on http://www.bulldogsecurity.com/ If you have started and are stuck already let me know, and i can walk you through it. like i said though i'll try and take some quick pics when i get the chance. I'll probably do it this weekend, as i am going to install another dvd player in my car cause the audiobahn i have is a piece of crap.
