I am having trouble on 99 tl with shift lock solenoid. The wire colors at solenoid are green and yellow.black. The green wire should go to pin 22 on conn b on drivers side multiplex unit. I cannot find this wire. I find a solid green on conn b but not at pin 22. The green wire on conn b has 2 silver bands on it but the green wire at solenoid has a single silver band. What is the significance of the bands? Do I have an open wire? I cannot find a wiring diagram that matches my 99 wiring.

I have the wiring book, but it's only available in physical copy. I can take some pics if I remember, or maybe I'll just scan and upload the whole book.

 

I have the 99-03 service manual but the wiring in it differs from my wiring.

 

karan, do you mean there's an entirely different book from the factory service manual for the second generation TL that has an in-depth description of the wiring?

Yea, I'm not talking about the factory service manual. That has very limited wiring diagrams. The wiring book has all the diagrams for the entire car, and all pinouts including pictures.

 

please digitise it when you can. i would love this for my DRL project!!

is this an official manual, too? or is this a helms-esque compilation? whatever it is man, i'm down! (when you have time, of course).

this will really help me familiarise myself with honda wiring harnesses!!
