hi, id like to set up led lights at the footing area of my car, how do i tap inside the fuse box so that each time i open the door the lights come on, and then turn off when i close the door.

just tap into the courtesy lights on the door...or find a fuse that is for the dome lights or door lights

L.... question like which wires go with which one and such, and use what gauge tap?

 

i would have to see a pciture cause i dont have my car and cant look at it...but usually the dark color is the negative wire...but not always the case...i would use a volt meter to test the wires or u could just ground the wire for the footwell lights and then tap the lights onto each wire to test. i would go with 18 gauge tap. But like I said early I would have to see the wires. You just take a pair or wire splicers and put the wire in the gauge measurer. That should tell you. Hit me if you have anymore questions
