These RLs have coil on coil on plugs so there are no wires to replace or service. Also the plugs Id recommend for optimum performance is quality is OEM NGK or DENSO plugs. they have their versions of Iridium plugs which the RL requires. dont be suprised to find out they are a piece beccause you only change them out once every 100k but personally i like to just change them a little sooner

I just replaced mine with Bosch platinum plugs & it defintely made it accelerate smoother..I dont beleive the hype about 100 miles plugs and I no bosch isnt the recomended type but You cant go wrong with anything bosch..The other comments about the plugs were true their made by Hitachi and they generally dont need replacing.

well recently i noticed the car sounded a little louder on startup as well as having a little gurgle in low rpm acceleration and more or less i'm just trying to correct those issues because when i first got the car it accelerated so smooth i wouldn't even know i was accelerating..... now it is slight and something that I can live with because no warning lights are on, but i want to approach it before it becomes an issue, but at the same time I don't want to replace things that don't need to be replaced..........

from reading posts on the site i've narrowed it down to either the torque converter, possibly a valve adjustment,Intermediate shaft heat shield is loose on its mounting bushings, or maybe I am just paranoid because the car runs good just those two small things bother me and can't put my finger on it

again this is just my uneducated guess from listening to the car, but you know how the dealers are they charge you crazy amounts of money for nothing most of the time and I'm trying to avoid an unnecessary expense

no i just did full synthetic oil, trans fluid, and diff fluid a little less than a month ago which is why im puzzled I'm going to try bringing it to the dealer because I have the powertrain for like another 3,000 miles but you know how it goes with the dealer they always send you away......... I am very meticulous with my cars so something small bugs me until its fixed hopefully someone can help me figure it out so I don't have to empty my pockets for Acura
