I have a 2006 RL 45,000 miles with the TECH package with the run flate tires. It's my understanding when it comes time to purchase new tires the run flates are priced extremely high. I also hear you can not put a normal tires on the run flate wheel.

What are other RL owners doing. I would like to hear from you

 

No, you can't put regular tires on a PAX wheel. Some people are replacing PAX with non-PAX (dePAXing) but you will have to buy a spare and related items which can run $500 or so (there's been a recent class action settlement where Acura will pay or reimburse some folks for the purchase of a "spare kit" but I'm not sure who qualifies. Some people are buying replacement PAX tires (expensive). I bought a complete set of PAX tires (90% tread remaining), wheels, center caps, and TPMS sensors off eBay...another option but they don't come along all that often.
