OK, just my luck that there's a recent new thread called "Wiper Blade Problems"

Anyway, I've noticed that the middle of the driver's side wiper blade does not stay in contact all the way through the arc on my 02 TLS. The very middle part of the rubber insert always seems to lift when the wiper arm is nearing the end of its swing (past vertical). The net effect is that there's a little horizontal wedge of water left behind by the blade, right in the middle of your field of vision.

I've replaced the rubber insert on the driver's side blade to no effect. It must be the springs on the wiper blade itself. Has anyone experienced this? I think I'll get the blade assembly replaced under warranty the next time it rains.

 

No problems here, but I've only been through one rain.

 

I'll never get to use the wipers - it nevers rains in So Cal!
