wings west spoiler question

Does anyone know if the ww flush mount spoiler would cover up the holes from a factory spoiler? Also, do most of you that have the spoiler install it yourselves or did you bring it to a shop? Thanks.

I dont think it would, the best thing for you to do would be to swap trunk lids with someone who wants a spoiler in your color. This way you dont have to worry about filling in the holes.

Actually I think it does, I was going to get one only if it did cover the holes and the info I gained said that it would cover the holes. The WW is a lot larger the the mugan spoiler. So I say it does cover it, just get the measurments and instructions you should be able to figure it out!

Did anyone install it themselves? Is it just tape or do I need to drill more holes?

It does cover the holes. I've heard that the holes on the WW do not line up perfectly with the OEM holes. So you may have to make the holes bigger.

It does cover the holes. I installed it on my TL. One hole will fit right and the other hole needs to be shifted inward a little but not too much. I just used some liquid teflon when i put the screws in so that I wouldn't have to worry about leaks that would lead to rust spots.

It will cover the holes, and its held on my screws, and 2 sided tape. The screws dont line up exactly with the OEM spoilers, so you may have to enlarge them. Also this is at least a 2 person job, but I think with some patience, anyone can do it.

One tip, the back of the spoiler curves over, and hugs the trunk lip. For test fits, use painters tape on the car, to prevent scratches in your paint.

I love the WW flush spoiler, had it on my TLS. It looked so good compared to the factory spoiler
