Window Tint/Navigation
I think its the metallic tints that will have a little effect on the GPS antenna. You should consult with the shop that is putting in the tint. If it is a reputable shop they will know what to say and do.
I had a '99 with metallic tint and I can almost swear the reception was a tad more poor. I noticed the yellow bars in the corner come up more often compared to when I had no tint.
Right now my TL-S is tintless, unless I decide to spend the 3 bills.

I had a titanium film put on my Z=28 Comaro a few yrs ago. The tint held up great, but it did affect the heck out of my AM radio reception. I am an avid fan of AM radio. AM radio has an internal ferrite bar antenna and it affects the heck out of it. THe Nav. system freq. is in the microwave range and it should affect it a lot less, but will probably have some affect on it. I would go with a non metallic film. My titanium looked perfect after a 112K and hot Texas Summers.
