window switch lights

window switch lights

ok i searched and couldnt find a direct answer, how do you get the master window switch out of the drivers door? there are a few burnt out bulbs and i would like to replace them. thanks if someone has a link or something that would be great

Remove door panel. Remove the switch assembly. Remove the circuit board. Bulbs are on the circuit board. And replace the bulbs.

ugh i didnt know they were LED's weird, i thought leds never burn out... interesting

They're not LED. That's just the DIY for LED. Just giving you some pictures on removal.

so i can just open it up and replace the little bulbs in them? are they the same bulbs as teh shifter base and the heated seat buttons?

actually they are leds, small dim green ones......best bet is to do a new led conversion on all switches since replacing the leds will require soldering......i put my window switches red on my nbp.....looks great.

what bulbs are burnt out. If the window lock switch is in the on position only the drivers window switch will light up. Once the window switch is on the others light up. The Mirror switch doesnt light up. Only mirror heater switch lights up red when on.

only the back two window switches light up.. the front driver and passenger dont. and i didnt know the mirror adjustment didnt light up... i was going to buy a whole new master window switch from this guy who was selling it for 50 bucks, said he got it new from dealer and it didnt fix his problem. but i think ill just keep it the way it is now, unless someone wants to do it for me. lol
