I'm looking to buy a keyfob off someone, but I'm not sure if will work for my 2000 TL. In terms of looks, it looks identical to the one I'm using, the only difference are the codes on the back of the remote.
The codes on the back of this remote are:
FCC ID: A269ZUA108
CANADA: 700 101 630
The codes on the back of my current remote are:
FCC ID: KOBUTAH2T
Canada: 1983 102 297
Anyone know if the one above will work?

The ID and the serials on the back does not matter, I have programmed different locks for my car many of times and with different FCC and serials. The dealship will program it for you if youtake it to them.

Hey Bincent:
Try this: I know it works for 01,02,03 CL/TL's.
Close the door & put the key in the ignition; hold the unlock switch on the door in the up position during the whole process; turn the key to the acc position; press the lock button on the transmitter once; turn the key back; do this 2 more times. The transmitter should be programmed.
Hope this help you out...

Sorry to jump into your thread with a new question, but this relates to your question. I am having problem with the lock unlock on my remote. The trunk works fine, but I can't unlock the door to save my life. I just put new batteries in it, and it still doesn't work.
