Hmm, I'd think the converse would be more appropriate but you know what they say ... there's no accounting for taste.

I might be driving a Type-S right now but I hate the new front end. I had a 2001 base TL and thought that car looked much better. But hey, I drive the complete antithesis now: an XJ8.

LOL.... well I'd rather have my 99 with its small ass headlights and grill, and my 4-speed tranny!!!! Power to the 99's!

Actually though, I do like the newer body style, I think it looks more aggressive. But I am in love with my 99.

What newer body style? The 99-03 all have the same bodystyle except for the front.

Oh and the headlights on the 02+ are too big.

I love my 99 TL.:worship:

Haters! j/k

I like the aggressive-looking grille on my '02. All I need are the BMW "devil's eye" headlights and an "eyelid" to complete the look.

Blackshadow,

When I say new body style, I meant the new front end.... to clear up all confusion!

It's very possible!

headlights, hood, grille, fenders, front bumper, and the frame.

You'll most likely need to unweld the front frame and weld on the new frame for the 02+
