why break in your car?



why



what are the symptoms of a "badly broken in vehicle"?
*i dink i didnt break it in right....*

(i revved couple times before i hit 1000 miles... )

it better on the engine actually, get all the metal nice and smoth. I change me oil every300 miles for the first 1200 miles and everytime i found tons of little metal shavings in it.

Wow that isn't good Beason! I've popped a lot of virgins in my life (drain plugs) and never once did i ever see metal coming out on the first oil change...

lol when i first read the post i was thinking that someone needed to take a hammer and actually physically break into their own car... made this topic seem more appealing to me initially =)

breakin period sucks ... i had to drive like a grandpa for the first ~800miles (they say 600 but just wanted to make sure)... after i filled the tank the second time i was out havin fun and no more did i have to let some pimped out ricer boy beat me

That case was from a 2000 Yukon, runs fine with almost 40,000 miles. No problems except an annoying rattle in the back.
