I'm at 234,000/. No problems yet. I have done timing belt at 150,000, adjusted valves at 170,000, I have nothing broken on the suspension, but am getting ready to replace most bushings with PST, new Tokiko blues, Tanabe DF210's (from 96 Accord EX), and all MOOG ball joints/tie-rod ends.
The clutch still holds up good...can't launch aggressively anymore. I'm putting in a SPEC lightweight clutch and pressure plate, aluminum flywheel. Most of the engine work has been bolt on, except for the head work by Bisimoto. (incredible difference) The stainless Josmo header plated with Swain-Tech Ultra White coating is also fantastic. I get 26-28 mpg mostly in town. Kinda long...thought I'd share

I hit 158. Second tranny (under warranty), did timing belt and water pump, Burrard acura says front and side motor mounts need replacing while two other garages say they are fine. Need new tranny mounts and going in for diagnostic next oil change. Who knows what that will turn up as it seems to run a little rough.

03 TL-S w/ 145K miles around 27 MPG highway mostly. Still org tranny & engine, replace ATF fluid every 20K and M1 oil & filter every 7.5K. Other replacement just like the rest the wear and tear items.

178 thou and running as good as ever. Replaced all the usual wear and tear over and over. New Trans at 100k. Then if it's between a bulb or a power steering pump that has worn out it's been replaced. But I gotta say everything just lasts!
This car is overbuilt like my 92 Accord EX. That's got 230 thousand, and drives like new. It crosses railroad tracks with a solid insulated thump thump thump thump.
Both cars make you say the old adage: Well they don't build 'em like that anymore.
You can see the old Accord peeking out behind the TL to the left!

200,000+ miles here on a stock 1999 TL with no engine/transmission repairs in 12 years.
Well my car just reached 163,000 miles last week and I just wanted to know who here has alrdy reached that and what problems have you encountered. I already ahve a few problems that im leaving as is right now, gotta wait till i get some money to get it fixed. But what can I expect after 160,000 miles. Any help would be nice. We had our transmission replaced at around 90,000 but i think im alrdy having problems with it but am not sure. My axle is a ltl messed up also. And im still on stock timing belt. Other than that everything else is good as of right now. I know dont scream at me for the stock timing belt ill get that replaced eventually.

134700 & counting. Tranny changed at recall never had any trouble. Now needs lots of Suspension work. Quebec roads to blame.
Anyone have ideas on rattle in right front wheel area? I can't find anything loose.

I was at 165k and running STRONG. I bragged to everyone how I had never had any problems with the car, then one night a few weeks back, the tranny blew on the highway without any notice. It wasn't slipping, no issues, just went. Very sad day. Luckily I had bought a 350Z two days before as a summer car, and I plan to put a new tranny in within the next few weeks.

just about to crack 300,000 km on my 2000 Tl-P
all is well though, bought the car @ 107,000 km and replaced the tranny under warranty at the time and haven't looked back since in terms of that.
Just did the 2nd timing belt replacement though, and now since i've dropped it the lower ball joints need to be changed - the car is still mint though and i hope it lasts another 50 - 75,000 km! I am looking for an '02 '03 TLS in the meantime before this one dies.
Love my TL!

'03 TypeS, 161xxx, owned since 83k. No trans for me, but I know it has been replaced at least once... just wear and tear items. So far, the best car I've ever owned (and this is number 16...)

my mom bought my tl type s off brothers wife for 3,000 2 weeks ago and its 159,900 miles ! have engine mount problems anyone know about that? and cost? also how much are tranny replacements.. i heard its 3,000 +?? is that true??

$3k? damn...what year?
are you a DIYer? there are write-ups in the sticky DIY thread on top of first page in this section for engine mounts
tranny replacements can vary...going to just get it rebuilt vs getting a remanufactured one will vary in cost ~$2k-4500 (reman'd being the more expensive, obviously)

2003 Acura 3.2 CL type S, 180,000
Other than normal wear and tear items I had to rebuild my transmission at about 110,000 miles. Since then, no issues other than the check engine light which just came on - stupid emissions!
