where to place ez-tag pass?
hey guys,
in houston, we have "ez-tag" pass for our tollways. it's about 3/4 cm thick and about the size of a credit card. where does everyone put their tollway pass? behind rearview mirror? in upper left hand corner of windshield? anyone tried mounting in a-pillar? would that even work?
thanks,
peter =)

Just put it high up in your windshield behind the rearview mirror if you like, or any spot that makes it an unobtrusive as you want it to be. Leave it on the windshield though, I wouldnt recommend behind the A-pillar or anything like that which would interfere with the signal, or make it hard to get to if the toll gate doesnt rise, and it has to be scanned manually.
I have mine on the passenger side of the windshield behind the rear view mirror where I cant see it, and it doesnt bother me.

mine is behind the rear view on the windshield.. you cant see it from the inside from where youre sitting. and its not too noticeable either from the outside of the car. but everyone who has to pay toll has it up there, so its not something that'll stick out

With the ez passes we have in Kansas, you can just keep them in your glove box or on the seat if you are going to be on the toll road and the gates go up just fine. they give you those bags so that if you dont want to have it charged to your ez pass you can put in in the bag.

definitely post pics! i was thinking about using a black marker to color it and then use clear double sided tape. the only thing was that the marker would rub off and that would suck to get on my clothes. the paint sounds like a much better idea.
thanks everyone for your input!

finally got around to doing this. just placed the ez-tag on a towel and spraypainted flat black on back and around edges. after drying placed thin clear double sided tape and applied to windshield behind the rearview mirror. can't even see it from the front! if you look close, you are able to see where tape sticks to window, but that's about all. awesome!

I did the same. Mounted just to the driver's side of my rearview mirror post, it is invisible from the outside and nearly invisible from the inside.
