Where to find Yellow Tint

Ok....heres the deal. Got ion yellow fogs. They look great but look white from straght on. I want the Gs/IS look. I am going to try and put some yellow tint on the fog casing itself (clear front part). Where can I find some? I have no idea where to go and get it. Thanks.

Those yellow lights are the ugliest things in the world.:yack: And fog lights are for vision not looks. Why don't you just trade them with CL owner for his "driving lights"

2 ways:

1. Buy a Lexus.
2. Go to home depot or a Lowe's and check them out, many people have found stuff they made for their cars here.....

The 2nd way is much cheaper.

i've always like that HID and yellow fogs look too. I think the wanna be blue HID fog light bulbs makes our HID headlights look tacky and fake...unless they are real HID's.
Anyways...wat you can do is go to a tint shop and get some or go to a hobby shop and get those clear yellow paint and paint it...but i dont know about yellow casing tho.

Heres what Ive tried out. Went and bought some Transparent yellow model covering film. I applied some solvent that I had and put it on. What does everyone think? Looks more yellow than the pics show. In the last pic the bulb on the left is PIAA ION YELLOW. The right is the PIAA with the film on. I'll take pics tonight to see the difference.

Where did you get the yellow film. I think I want to do something like that for my Accord.

I actually have A4 Xenon projectors for driving lights so yellow Xenon might look really cool

use dj film that they use for their lights. its thicker that cellophane. and it will stand up to most heat.

Ditto that. Any DJ/band music store that sells lighting equipment will sell gels. Those are the clear cellophane-like inserts put in front of the par cans to get the colored lights. Very cheap and they can withstand 200W of close lighting. Gels come in every color imaginable (probably 10 different shades of yellow so you should be able to find just the right one).

Checked out my Autozone Store today, they only thing they had was some yellow tint. The instructions was in 3 languages and it looked a little cheap. Should I be looking for certain stores that might sell this?
