I think the part that sticks up should be turned so that is facing the ground.TL-S or TL-P? everything that I've brought comptech I think I've had a problem with the directions.great product but the directions suck.

It's upside down.....lol.... sorry but it's kinda funny

The plastic thing pointing up is a resivour for little ammounts of water to fall into.... the stock setup has the same...

Props to getting it in upside down, it must have been a beetch to install...

Flip it and you'll be fine... nothing should be pointing up...

you can pick up a tube at autozone forrealcheap.. just make sure it is engine tubing, otherwise the tube will collapse on itself when the heat from the engine rises..

there is two hoses that connect to the air intake.. they are vaccuum hoses.. one is that metal one and the other is on the opposite side of the CAI (windshield side).. you will see the hose sitting there because you had to unplug it to get the stock air intake out..

see thats all i needed was to be sure autozone would have it----now i should get it long enough to reach from the metal bar to the connection underneath???

yep... the tube should fit snuggly around the metal bar and go the the "nipple" connection on the bottom of the CAI. Get a hose clamp to pinch the tube tightly onto the cai "nipple" (possibly another hose clamp for the other connection). The tube connecting to the back of the CAI shoud reach to the nipple, but you might need the hose clamp if the nipple doesn't hold the tube on tight.

It should be an easy fix.. Enjoy the HP
