Anyone heard anything new on the 04 Type S.

 

I heard around 300 hp. Looks like infinti will need to up the G35 to compete. If the 300-325 hp is true then this will be one bad ass car. I thought my type s now was quick.

 

dunno about that... in FWD? If they stay FWD... we may be lookong tat the most hp now

 

Yeah I hope for the change to RWD. I just hope the new look is something I will enjoy. Acura is usually pretty good with looks front and back. I heard 260 stock in base TL and Type S to reach 300. I think the release date will be around fall 2003. The 03 TL came out early to accompany the 03 CL.

honda accord v6 is up to 240...
so base tl will have to be 260 and type S to 290 or more.
eventually it might be converted to RWD.

Other competitions are bumping up the HP and converting to RWD.

There is no confirmation about anything from Acura, so whatever you're hearing is all rumors and lies. One of the rumors is that Acura will be going back to it's late summer release schedule, which would put the '04 model out late '03 (probably a little over a year from now).
