when to replace Fuel Filter?

I was just browsing on AH motor, and noticed that they recommended replacing fuel filter for every 30k miles. I don't even know if I've done this to my car yet. I've had all the maintenances though, so should this have been done already?

Going thru my dealers recomended service book I have not come across feul filter replacement mileage yet. I see the 99 RL & Tegs say 30,000 miles.

I have an Accord V6. When I went to the 60K miles service, I was told by Honda that it's suppose to last the lifetime of the car unless there is something wrong with it. I disliked that answer of course.... that's when you run into fuel related problems.

Hmm. And wouldn't changing it every so often increase fuel mileage? It's relatively cheap too at $17

The fuel filter is located right in the gas tank. I have about 65k on my Accord with the original fuel filter. Gas millage is the same as year 1.

I thought the fuel filter was in the front, under the hood.
