Does anyone know if you upgrade your suspension and get better tires that our stock ones on the 03 TLS will the limit or completely reduce wheelspin during takeoff??

It all depends on the adhesion ability of the tire to hold the road. ie- the softer the tire the better the grip. This is assuming the road surface is completly smooth and level with no debris at all. That and a down side is that the tread-wear rating won't be nearly as high.

It helps, but with a higher power, front wheel drive car, anything short of track tires are gonna spin, esecially with the VSA off...

You have to factor in that the car was designed with comfort in mind and with high-speed rated All-Season tires. As soon as the suspension component/ geometry is altered, and ultra performance tires used, you would probably think it's a different car.

Soft tires

Get a set of soft tires. It will wear faster but it will hold better then hard tires.
Slicks are really soft but they are for racing.

goodpoint, but when you do suspension your closer to the ground you will most use tire tread much faster cuz it has more weight on the car. (at least thats what i noticed on my SC)

if you lower your car make sure you get an alignment done or else your tires wont get a good grip on the road
