ck kbb.com -look at low number for value
see what they are going for on CL or places like autotrader.com

was the 105 service with timing belt and water pump done?
expect that question from everyone
deduct $1000 if not performed yet

I feel like $7000 and let them negotiate. But I would only pay about $6000 for your car.

If you let go of the car, how will you get to another job, and then how much longer until you lose the house?

you could get a honda for 4gs, runs on 87, gets better -4cyl- mileage than the TL and have reliable transmissions

good luck in your job search- its tough out there but income does exist
think outside your normal job and evaluate your skills aquired in life

If you already have another car- get what you can for the TL- the big thing on price being the timing belt service completed

threadjack for the inventive type:
A guy in my town stood on the corner in a suit with a sign- I need a job- had website address and some skills listed,,,got him featured in the paper twice and lots of support and a few interviews
He somehow comes up with the idea for a simple device that helps semi truck drivers move the axles on the trailer to adjust weight loading--normally a tough job

Goes to a local business development event and 15 thousand dollars!!!! is awarded to him for developement, Now a big company can buy the patent or lease the rights to make,,he will make money forever!!!
forget an office job for someone else- he just became the someone!!

Thats what I mean thinking outside your job=== to what can I do???
Who has the next better mousetrap?

i have a truck thats all paid for. as for the house i don't want to get behind on it at all. thanks 01tl4tl. unfortunatly my job was kinda a specialty thing not many companies out there that do it. so i'm looking into some classes on something else & i think the state will pay for it.

I usually look at NADAguide wholesale pricing.

Rough Trade-In $4100
Average Trade-In $5225
Clean Trade-In $6500
Clean Retail $9100

Mileage: 125,000 miles , deduct $350
