LOL

in all honesty, a SRI is not worth it. way louder, little if not no gains at all....but i believe the only SRI available is from AEM?

either that or buy an ebay, and cut it...

or try the home depot special, and just toss the stock one back on for the carb inspection

BTW: you don't have to be such an ass to every one

iv had both a short ram (AEM) and a cold air (custom), the short ram sometimes gives good power but as soon as the engine bay heats up it all goes away and you end up loosing power. and if you make your own cold air (4inch like me) you can walk all over those weenie name brand intakes.

just put a filter on the TB and call it a day, what's the point of buying a six inch long tube that costs 150 dollars? When smog comes around put it back to stock

care to post a dyno with SRI gains?

i dont see how inhaling hot air from the engine bay could do anything but HURT the performance...

your still getting some gains since the air is not restricted in our stock air box, too many turns...with a SRI it will draw hot air, but its a rush of air vs being constrained.

once you pull the res. off its a straight shot through the filter around to the IM.

res. off with good filter > SRI

even pulls air from further down..
