What recommended offset and rim width?

What is the recommended offset so my rims won't stick out and how wide of a tire should I put on to avoid rubbing?

18x8 +50 offset
225/40 18 series tires

Even dropped on coilovers you won't rub

You could go with a 235 width on the the tires without much of a risk of rubbing.

Jeez, does the SEARCH tool not work anymore. Half of the posts lately have been ones that have been talked about MANY times previously.
