My OBX headers didnt come with any gaskets so I have to go and buy some from the dealership. Which ones do I need to buy? I know I will need some for the exhaust manifold, but what else? My car has 40000 miles so I am going to go ahead and replace the gaskets as opposed to just using the old ones. Thanks.

 

i think they use specific gaskets... not the stock ones. you may want to call the place you ordered them from and let them know you didnt get any gaskets.

 

You can usually use the old one's. They are metal and as long as they are intact, they will be fine. If not, just go to the dealer and buy some new stock one's. Warning - They aren't cheap.

 

you can use the stock ones for the block to headers, get new gaskets from the dealer for only the headers to apipe, the gasket for the apipe to the cat will NOT work...

Definately call the place you bought them from and tell them they werent in the box. I'm pretty sure the gaskets that meet the block are same as stock, but the donut gaskets are different.

 

Sterling McCall Acura here in Houston is quoting $17 per gasket.

 

thats over prices, the most expensive donut gasket on the stock system is 10 bucks, the apipe to header gasket cost a lil over 5 bucks a piece
