It all depends on what you want...

Comptech - Drop about 1.25in to 1.5in and similar to stock quality ride.
H&R - Drop about 1.5in to 1.75in with a stiffer ride than stock..
Eibach - Drop about 2in and a very stiff ride.

H&R Sports and yes, you can use the stock shocks. They will last about 50,000 miles.

I'm absolutely loving mine, although she had to go in the shop the day due to an accident after I installed the springs.

I got a question why are the HR OE springs listed for sale on this forums store have a TL drop of .75/.75 and a CL drop of 1/1.25

Are these the same springs? Can I use the TL springs on my CL and only get a drop of .75/.75? I need to get up my driveway (hill) without bottoming out.

Acura, TL, Type S 2002 - 2003 &back ordered till Oct 31st
front/rear
.75/.75
$255.00 $169.57

Acura, CL, Type S 2001 - 2003 &back ordered till Oct 31st

$255.00 $169.57

51858 is for '01 and before models. For '02-'03, you need to get 50103.

Lots of people get confused about this, but it's really simple.

51858 is a set of black/dark blue Sport springs. 50103 is a pair of black/dark blue Sport springs for the front and a pair of grey OE Sport springs for the rear. I would highly recommend getting the 50103, especially if you have a system in the trunk. I've got a box and the 50103 kit gave me a perfect even drop (well, maybe like half an inch lower in the rear, but can't really notice it)

If you get the 58158, it'll sag in the rear. That's why H&R came out with the 50103.

'99 TL uses 51858. But you could go with 50103, too. TL's suspension has not changed since '99.
