what does the richie module do??

What exactly does the richie module do for the TL-P? Because I read on the 6th Gen Accord forum (.net) and it didnt mention anything about using the richie module with the 99-03 TL-P... If any of you guys who's using the module please inform me of what the module does, that would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

Its to allow you to convert the car to a 6 speed manual without having to rewire the entire car.

When you install the 6 speed into the auto engine the computer thinks the car is in park all the time so it's limited to 5500rpm.

Richie's module makes your auto ecu compatible with the manual trans.
