Taking long to shift from 3 to 4....

Taking long to shift from 3 to 4....

I've noticed lately the tranny takes a whole before it shifts from 3rd to 4th gear.
The rpm go up to 3000 before it shifts. It see to shift much lower than that. It doesn't slip at any point either. Possible cause?

Is it flaring before it shifts? Or are you saying the rpms climb too high before it shifts?? If you would like it to shift sooner just take your foot off the accelerator and it will upshift.

Iis not slipping or anything. I ease up on the accelerator a but so It can shift . My question is why is it doing this now? It never did this.
