Remember someone in Los Angeles had single exhaust... From what i heard, the car is a little bit faster off the line... 3 inch may be too big ... try 2.75in

uh....rice?....the only reason people do slant exhaust is because the oringinal muffler was places parrallel to the front and rear of the car...so their wouldnt be enough room for a muffler to run straight out the back...

I know a TL-S here in T.O. did a single exhaust. IMO it looks good. He had a pretty big canister and it sounds nice. He also tuned it with VAFC and he's getting some good power. I'll take some pics when I see his TL again

I just can't see that either....That just sounds ricey to me. Our cars came with a dual exhaust, granted it is not a "true" dual exhaust but you guys get the picture. Just wouldn't do TL's any justice to have a single exhaust, slanted exhaust, or even a dual slanted exhaust...etc...

what he did was remove the y-pipe, and then have the canister angled out towards the right

I like the dual and I think a lot of cars try to make their cars dual, why would you want to make it a single? I would think it looks like your missing something.

Performancewise single would be better... But i guess dual exhaust is cool ? Ive always seen civics, cavaliers, eclipses, etc with dual exhausts and it seems reeeaaaal ricey to me, but thats my opinion.

I remember waaaaay back i ran into someone w/ a teal metallic blue TL... He had 18 '' racing harts, OEM kit, comptech headers, comptech exhaust (single + straight) lowered.... Looked reeal clean.

Single isnt that bad... JUST DONT PUT A FRIGGIN 4" tip and slant it LOL!

The apex'i N1 exhaust i think looks the nicest... then would be comptech...

you dont need 3'' piping unless you are running some serious horsepower! You will lose alot of lower end power off the line...

My friend runs V6 w/ T66 ball bearing turbo... He has 3" piping w/ no cat...
