What do you guys think...?
I recently purchased a 1 owner Laguna 2000 TL Navi. with 54k miles for $12,500. The car is in mint condition! All the records in hand. Clean carfax. Also the tranny is original with a jet kit installed at 35k miles. What do you guys think... did I do ok or did I pay too much.

Its not lookin too pretty right now (chicago weather ugh!) but as soon as I wash it I'll put up some pics. Its a really nice car. Mint 1 owner 2000 TL w/ Navi 54k miles... these are pretty hard to come by oh and btw the TL is from Atlanta GA so no rust :-) where we'll be moving back to in a few months. 3 yrs in chicago is all i can handle.

IN MY Opinion
A one owner car with maitenance records from a TL Lover just like its new owner is- should and does command a higher price than one abused and leased and sent to auction- no history, bad brakes, who knows what else.
Pay a little now or a lot later
Keep an eye on the trans, change the fluid, and read the symptoms on www.acura.com, where you will register your car by VIN and they have a really good posting on whats normal and whats not
The oil kit and the trans probs are different issues.
Also call acura at 1-800-382-2238 x5 and register with them too.
Thats customer care and can tell you even more about your car- seat belt warranty- occupant sensors and other extended to 100 or 150 thousand miles

there it is guys... sorry about the mess up with the picture posting.... this pic isnt all that great but here it is...it was taken hours after my dad picked up the car from the previous owners... i flew from chicago to pick it up
Great Choice, LGM is the shit, I own one myself I wish I had the navi. For a minute I thought that house had sand in front of it which would be baller.Just get a drop and itll be set. Welcome.

hey 03typeStl ... thats awesome that your in the area.... maybe sometime we can meet up at woodfield or something Im always in the mood to see a nice clean TL..... besides the ones we see in the parkin lot of mullers woodfield acura lol ....my mouth drops everytime i pass it and see the new TL-S's just sitting there... ahh one day

You got a pretty good deal man. I have to say that you can't find a TL with a low milage like that for 12K. I got one with 22K on it, but it was from an auction.
I say that you didn't go wrong with TL. IT looks great, in my personal opinion it looks better than 02-03.
