HI, does anyone have any pictures of thier car with the neons turned on so i can see how it looks?? I cant decide what color neons to get under my blue 99 i was thinking blue, white or even red and i am not sure how they would look? ANY PICTURES even if your car isnt blue would be greatly appreciated. THANKS!

 

Blue under blue doesn't look that good. I have a NBP TL-S w/ blue neons and it looks hot. ThsioTL or whatever on this board has some pics floating around.

I'd say go with white neons on your blue TL. It will look way better.

 

I'm going to install my 7-color LED underbody (hopefulyl soon). This way I can get any color any time I want. Plus it is plastic so it won't break as easily as glass neon tubes

 

Personally I don't like the neons on the TL, but if I had to pick a color I think red would look pretty hot.

yeah get the LED's they are supposed to be brighter than the neons and more durable. check out the brand Varad, and i think there are a few others, i just dont know the brand name.

 

thsiao is how you spell my username , anyways... I have a blue TL-S and I think blue is the perfect match. I considered white also, but blue was my final choice. I have neons inside and outside the car. Here are some pics to convince you.

Hope that helps! By the way, I saw the LED underbody neons mentioned in this thread at a car show and they are cool, however, if the road is wet you will be able to see each single LEDs from underneath the car (mirror reflection), instead of the whole tube. Get what I mean?

should i get the gold kit or the built in transformers is there much of a difference??

None......would look the best, but if I had to pick out of your I would go with white. I like white lights in anything over blue or red.

are the leds really birghter?..i thought it would be dimmer and the light would be less spread out...

 

It is a bit brighter, but less spread out. Like I said, if you use it on a wet floor you will be able to see the individual LEDs on the reflection.
