Went to check my alignment and....

i got my comptech springs installed 2 weeks ago and i got my alignment done today and here are the results of the camber...

front left : -0.3
front right : -0.6

rear left : -0.9
rear right : -1.4 = Shit!

I guess the others that did not need camber kits are lucky...
I didn't think i would need one since many have mentioned that there is no need for one... but look what happened to me..

Factory specs for the cambers are +/- 1.0... my rear left is .9, i was lucky. but with people in the back or stuff in the trunk, you can see my rear wheel cambers move the wheel when i go over a bump. I wish i could afford the rear camber kit...

honestly it sounds like you mixed up the rear left and rear right springs.... -1.4 on the right side does not sound right at all...

can't you just do the washer trick? No real need for a rear camber kit

stick washers behind the upper control arm to push it out reducing camber (you may need longer bolts for that but it works. alot of camber kits for hondas are just that for the rear

the amount of washers depends on the severity of the camberif it requires like 1-3 washers to achieve the desired camber then longer bolts shouldnt be necessary. if more than that you may need to get longer bolts (found in any hardwarestore)

Hmmm. That's something i need to look in to rather than dumping $200 on a garbage piece of metal to prevent minimal inner toe wear.

yup. like i said alot of kits for hondas use that exact method. i have gotten 3 kits like that for 3 different hondas and they work well

in response to darkshear's post about me mixing up the rear... well according to the print out it says -1.4 on the right....

so i guess it's the left side that's ususally messed up eh... anyhow, i have no idea what the washer trick is. I'm just going to get me both front and rear camber kits to be on the safe side. this sucks... i was hoping i dind't have to waste money on camber kits... oh well, it's the price i pay for lowering my car...

your front is fine and w/in specs, you can do the washer trick in the rear and you only need to really do it on one side.

you cant do any washer trick on our cars. its only possible on the smaller hondas where the upper arm can be pushed away from the body with washers. where are you gonna put washers on our car?

btw, the tl has -0.5 camber in the rear from the factory with half a degree tolerance. at least the 99 does.
