My starter solenoid took a crap today, so I have to replace the whole starter...
I just moved into a new appt, and dont have all of my tools with me...Is the starter accessible from the top? Unfortunately I dont have a jack with me.
And is there anything I should know, any issues I might run into?

Yeah the starter should come out from the top.
But the lower bolt will require to remove the battery plate and some giggle (Not necessary if you can remove it from below the car, But since no Jack).
Post how did it Go.

Its very easy to remove from the top. You have to remove the battery any way so remove the tray.
