Talking Well, I took the plunge...

I went and got the 2003 ABP TL Type S with the NAVI. I also opted for the moonroof visor, body kit, full extra wood trim, wood trim steering wheel, comptech headers, comptech exaust and th Wings West flush mounted spoiler. I am picking it up tomorrow from Park Ave Acura. I still have the DVD to NAVI from my CL Type S, so I am gonna use that, but I am wondering how the stock stero sounds with that BOSE sub. I am thinking of changing it with the JL Audio W7. I also was wondering which CAI is the best to go with (from a Dyno point of view). I will be changing my name t what it used to be which is BadazzS. Thanks guys in advance for any infoyou can share

JL Audio W7's are bad@ss, I'm sure Austin 519 will be jumping on this bandwagon with me, but you better be ready to upgrade the head unit and mids and tweets, better battery, caps, and mondo amplification to run a system like that.
As far as CAI is concerned, there is a lot of controversy, I have AEM, but they actually need to be modified to fit our cars (trimmed by .75"). It sounds goooood.

I already have the Kenwood KVT910-DVD and the 10 disc changer along with the surround sound processor, center channel and the video selector sitting in the boxes waiting to be installed I will be getting 2 Kenwood LZ800W TV's for the back as well and the MB Quart QSD 216's. This brings me to my next question, can 6.5" speakers fit up front and in the back? I guess I will be changing the battery (although I think you have to go smaller with the comptech SC when it comes out) so I may not do that. Thanks again guys

depending on the basket of the mids, maybe. mine are 5.25 diamond audio and they fit fine in the stock location. the main concern is gonna be depth. there isnt alot of space between the metal and the window, and there isnt much space between the metal and the stock grille....ugh, i had a hard time w/that

Thanks. Yea, actually I was getting it with the Comptech sways, but I read on here that the Neuspeed's are actually better (handling wise). So I decided to wait and get those, besides I want to feel the before and after effects of the coil overs and sways

Congrats on the new ride, if i had the opportunity i would have bought the car with all those mods on it. 1 question though, what made you get an 03 and not wait for the redesign? At point in the game, people usually wait.

I know what you mean, but it's because the Z06 was a 'lemon' and I need a car now. Besides the fact I don't know what the new car will look like and like this model with the onstar. Does anyone know for sure what the '04 will look like? Thanks in advance.

I don't think they will be changing it too much in '04, it is a fairly new body and they have made so many improvements to it, normally they save that kind of stuff for a new chassis. I think we're okay until '06.

Yea... I agree, take it off... hahah... I have mine in the garage if anyone wants to buy it. The dealer threw it in the package but it looks too bulky on the car....

Well, I picked it up last night from Park Ave and it was a great thing to do business with them again I am very pleased with this car. I love it much more than the CL-S I had (A lot more roomy, ect.)
