So I get to work and turn my car off. As I go to take the key out, the interior lights flash 3 times along with 3 dings/chimes. I thought I left my lights on but I didn't. Just three chimes and interior light flashes.

What the hell is that all about? Anyone know?

My buddy's dad brought home a Chevy Astro from work one day. We took it out and royally fucked it up. The lights flashed a few times and it beeped when we destroyed the driveshaft and it was literally dragging on the ground.

Just a reference.



I'm just trying to scare you. I'm sure it's nothing. Just an electrical surge, bad battery connection or something. Check the terminals.

 

Did you accidently bump the unlock button on the remote (with the door open)? That will do it. If I'm real close to the car and I open the door as the lights are still flashing from the remote unlocking, I'll see the dash lights flash and hear a chime.
