When does the Manual say replace tranny fluid?

I am askin this question beacause I want to be totally informed when I talk to an Acura rep. My car is at the dealership (Hall Acura Newport News VA) and has been there for a week now b/c my tranny died last tues.

I am one of those whose tranny went after the 100k mark (109,425 to be exact) and I believe Acura might try to jerk me and make me pay for the tranny. I followed all of the steps to have it inpsected. I made an appointment for wed of last week but it died on tuesday. To be honest I am really nervous b/c I am in the midst of buying a house and there is no way I can afford to buy a transmission right now.

Also I have an AEM CAI and I was wondering what is the name of the Lawsuit that states the manf has to prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that the mod contributed to the breaking of the transmission, at least in my case.

Sorry for the long post. I will keep everyone informed, and thx for any of the answers to my questions in advance.

Why shouldn't you have to pay for the tranny? You are beyond the warranty. That area is pretty much black and white.

...

According to the manual, it's 120k miles for normal and 60k miles for severe.

Paragraph #7 of the recall letter:
Vehicles with more than 15,000 miles - The technician will inspect the second gear for discoloration of the gear due to heat damage. If there is any evidence of heat damage, the transmission will be replaced. If discoloration is not present, the dealer will perform the modification to the oil cooler return line.

And, remember this letter was sent after the 100k warranty extension.

No Limit is set on milage, it only states after 15,000 miles. Anyway under normal driving conditions my tranny shoud def last longer than 109k. I had a 98 accord that had 126k when I traded it in and it shifted fine. My friend had a 95 accord with 215k in it b4 his tranny died. Furthermore Acura knows the transmission suffers from faulty engineering.

Bottom line 109k is far too little milege for my tranny to go bad.
