weird rev problem today

Unhappy weird rev problem today

i got to work and not too long after i put my car in park it just started revving by itself...happened two more times after that...everytime after i had set it in park...anybody ever have this happen or any idea what it could be??? thanks...

it used to happen in my bimmer but thts cause i fucked with the tb and messed it up. so id say start by checkin the tb

IACV ( IDLE AIR CONTROL VALVE ), about 300 to be replaced at the acura dealer. Or you can try to clean it yourself.

its your iac valve getting stuck.... it usually only happens when the car hasnt been started in a few days.. so im not too sure about your situation.

that explains it, havent moved it in a lil over a week...does i still need to be fixed though?? if yes, my warranty should cover this right?? i live in an apartment, so i cant really work on my car...

i think you will be alright.. same thing happened to me when i went on vacation.. i drove it for a few minutes and shut it off and started it back up and its been fine since.
