weird idle issue
So, i just bought a 2002 tl-s (from a chevy dealer no less)...love it so far, but just started having an issue...sitting at a stop light (in D5), the engine revs erratically from about 500-1200...at one point it dropped down to near zero, then popped back up...the first time it did this the engine was cold...the second time the engine was warm...registered my vin...tranny was replaced in 04...though this doesnt really match the symptoms of tranny failure that i've read on these forums. could it be dirty fuel injectors, fuel filter, or even bad gas? (not the taco bell kind...) Much thanks to anyone who has any suggestions.... Id hate to be sitting on the side of the road waiting for a tow truck when i still have 30day tags on my car.
I apologize if this has been answered before...but i couldn't seem to find the answer...

thanks...unfortunately im not too versed in DIY car repair...still under 30-day warranty from the dealer...think the guys at a chevy dealer can clean the IAC on my acura (if its even covered) or should i take it to my mechanic?
