Exclamation weak brake problem

Recently my brakes have been giving me some trouble, they seem to have gotten really weak. While i'm driving it seems that it requires me to press the brake almost all the way down to get the car to come to a stop overall the brakes feel really weak. I took it to the dealer and they changed my brake pads, but after a weeks worth of driving they still feel the same.
A bit of history:my brakes were fine until i hit something on the road and cause me to blow a rear tire, obviously i know this caused the problem but i dont know whats wrong and the dealer said the change of brake pads is all it needed. Any suggestions what i should do next?

Change the brake fluid. Sometimes after time the hydraulic charateristic may break down. Now as you press the brake pedal the fluid may compress more before actually applying hydraulic pressure to the piston in yuor caliper. Over time your brake fluid also collects moisture through condensation and it too will build up in your lines causing poor hydraulic pressure. Also by changing the fluid you will rule out the possibility that there may be any air in the system. my .02

have the fluid flushed out, get the stainless brake lines and see what happens.

Definetely. If it was fine before that, you may have damaged the brake line or the valve that deals with brake force distribution. Maybe your rear brakes do not work at all now. Have dealer check it out.
