i too have this problems, I lifted up the spare tire and found a puddle of water. No idea why. At first I thought that it was because I had a 02 acura sign which did not use the whole, but then it does not seem right. Sorry I can't help you their

well i would resomend ripping apart your car and finding where its coming from. (or if your under warranty bring it to the dealer)

if you arent start out by climbing in the trunk with a flash light and have someone drive you thru a car wash to see if you can spot where its coming in

I have the same thing, at first it looks like condensation. The rim has water "droplets", but I had puddles of water on those dips in the trunk. Someone know where this water is coming from.

it may be different in the others. this hasnt been a comon prob on this forum so far. my recomendation is pull every thing out and see if you can trace where its coming from.

Hey fsttyms1, I had the dealer install my Comptech and Illumina combo. When I looked in the truck I found 2 screws/bolts. Could this be the culprit? These were small screws/bolts. I don't know where to look, unless I try to disconnect the back dashboard.

I took the spare out and the mat that covers the spare. Nothing seems to be wet, musty, etc. The only thing I didn't take out is the side coverings. It's one of those places, that unless you have a flat or something you would not be looking in the spare trunk space. So I don't know, I might just take your recommendation and bring it into the shop.

as for the screws? i dont think they would have any thing to do with it.

take you the side covers and look for traces of water, or look for areas where water might be coming in from. look for water stains like where it may have ran from. if you see water puddled up in the spare tire well start there. dry it out and then start hosing it down from the bottom side with water to see if you can see if/where its coming in. thats why i recomended taking every thing out of the trunk, (pull out your back seeat too) and have some one drive you thru a car wash (get the under body flush)

i dont know about a puddle but theres water releases under the trunk. my best guess would be rain evaportaed and condensated in your trunk. ive ripped my trunk apart to figure out HOWWWWW. i have a carpc i gotta look out for.

Tail light gaskets, and the rubber gaskets are the most common causes of water leakage into the trunk. Either of you do anything with your tails or have any body work done at all in the rear of the car?

No still stock tails, and only work done was installation of shock and springs by the dealer.

Here are a few things to check.

Trunk rubber lining.
Tail light gaskets
Moonroof rear hoses may be plugged.
