Warranty Nullifier?

If i have XS Headers on my TL, will that affect any of the warranties I have? Like if i have future tranny issues?

No, it shouldn't. Legally it can't, but if the dealer is really a bunch of douches they can deny your warrenty claim and you'd have a hard time proving them wrong.

There is a legal paper that prohibits them from denying warranty based on SOME aftermarket parts

If you lower it- they can say that caused the cv to wear out faster

But intake manifold spacers- CAI's, rims/tires of OE size, Exhaust (not including turbo or supercharger add-ons)
different wheels etc- they would have to PROVE that part caused the failure

So kind of hard to prove the headers caused a trans clutch pack failure
No Wait- it must mean you drive the car hard- nope- nothing in the book about hard driving except race car conversion/useage will void warranty

^Unless you can prove it that's what they'll say though. Here's a link on warranty law that I grabbed awhile back: http://www.totallytwistedcreations.c...ranty_law.html
I'm only taking my car in for trans failure if it happens and a new seat cover (it's beginning to crack a little) right before my extended warranty wears out. You should be fine with most bolt-on mods though.

Unless you documented the TCS inop by taking into the dealer for repairs and they didnt fix it BEFORE you did whatever mod to your dash- you are on the short end of this one- depending on whats actually wrong with your car
Wasnt your tcs prob the sensor lead got broken during some other work a few months back?

Other bolt ons listed above are less issue
Its dropped cars complaining about rattles and bad axles that have a prob
