warranty expiration...

Ok folks the warranty on my '03 TLS is about to expire (milage). I'm gonna bring the car in for a couple of things before the warranty is officially over.

Any other things I should take a look at and make sure it's "ok" before the warranty is over?

I think the car has an exhaust leak. When you let it idle for a couple of minutes, you can here a "tick tick tick" noise from the driver's side rear of the car. Plus one of the window seals is coming out. Those are the 2 things I'm bringing her in for. Any other suggestions?

Also, 1 pixal is "dead" on the nav. SHould I say anything about that?

Get that pixel checked, for sure. Check any TSBs to see if you have any of those issues. Seat heaters/seat motors working? Check eletrical stuff, especially stuff you may not be using right now. A/C and heat working OK? Things you'd check when buying a car. Mirrors?

Speaking of heated seats. Does the back of the driver's seat heat up? I can barely feel any heat from it with my barehands. The dealer said this is "normal." Is that right?

the ticking sound is normal. Something to do with pumping some sort of liquid... I remember reading something about it a little while ago. You may want to check the black sticker that lines the windows. Mine is peeling up. Any rattling that isn't normal. When I turn my stereo up the damn bose grill rattles like a muther!!!

Driver's back does heat. However, for the seat heater to work, there must be weight on the seats. If you're sitting in the seat for a bit an feel no heat on the back, get it looked at. passenger backrest does not heat.

So there has to be weight on the back of the driver's seat for the heated seat function to work? Hmmm, I think mine is not working properly then. The bottom part is HOT as heck! If you have it on HI, your ass is on fire. If you have it on LOW, it's barely warm. The back part is even cooler than when it's on LOW for the arse part.

As for the ticking noise. It's not a pump noise. Because the car is fully warm, and has been driven around If you let it sit there and idle for a couple of minutes, it'll start ticking. I just hope it's doing it when I bring it to the dealer.

Yeah, I'm planning on pointing out the bubbles to the dealer as well.

Any other questions?! Thanks!

ticking is normal, at least that's what the dealer told me when i brought it in, hasn't affected anything so I didn't bother them anymore about it. My back doesn't heat either...never did, even when new? is it something the 03 had and not the 02?

Ticking is normal? Hmm, this isn't the "exhaust contracting after you turn off the car" ticking noise I'm talking about. It sounds like a "pump" or something. Doesn't sound normal at all.

Anyone else hear this noise before? I want to be prepared when the dealer tells me a story.

Can anyone confirm the heated back part of the driver's seat? I have an '03 if that makes a difference.
