After reading the FAQ board and seeing the info on wiring a VTEC light I thought I'd give it a try. Needless to say, it didn't work. Upon pulling the bottom two plugs on my ECU I noticed that the middle plug had two green wires with yellow stripes, not one. Also, all three of my plugs are orange, none of them are grey. I talked to one of my BMW tech's about it (Sorry guys, I work for BMW) and he said that the guy posting must not have had a Type S, or maybe just a different production model on the ECU. I am hoping that someone knows which wire I need to tap into so I don't have to resort to making one of my tech's ride with me for half an hour testing each wire with a test light. I left a similar post in the electronic forum, but I think I may have better luck here. If anyone has done this to their 02 or 03 Type S, please help! :-( Thanks.

yeah sorry that was my post..the instructions came from my expericece with the honda prelude...im currently waiting for my tl to test out and once i get the right wire i will inform everyone.....if you dont want to wait try getting access to the helm maual and look for the vtec solinoid wire from the ecu once you tap into that you shoudl be home free with the rest of the directions...i will try to up date the faq with in the next 2 weeks
