I'm so fvckin pissed. I just went out to get something from my car and noticed that my driverside fog lense cover took a rock. It's fvckin shattered. FVCK! My whole day is now fvcked!

 

Jeez....i would hate to see what happens when you get a rock chip on the hood or a dent in the door.....chill out, get it fixed and move on....take your medicine too....

 

Well, I'll share my pain too.

I just got my Wings West spoiler painted and picked it up last night. When I got home, I dropped it on concrete!! . I am so pissed at myself

I got to get it painted again

 

I'm chilled...I just needed to vent. I'm getting it fixed under warranty.

 

Under warranty? How did you pull that one off? Things like that I would be sure the dealer would say no.

 

my driver side fog light was cracked also. i really don't know how it happened because it looks like someone shot it with a BB and theres no rock in the housing. so it's a mystery. i'm not about to spend 180 for a fog light so i'm just gonna have to figure out another way to fix it.

 

Yeah, how are you doing that? I've seen several posts on here where the dealers would not fix it and they needed to pay for the new housing which is like $180.

This JUST happened to me on Tuesday too. I was pissed b/c it was all shattered. The bulb is fine though, so I taped up the lens until I can replace it. I'd love to get one for free, let me know about this warranty thing.....

I had that happened couple weeks after the purchase. I brought it back to the dealer and talked to my sales first. He said he will take care this. So when the service manager came to take a look he was on my side.

The service manager said it caused by a rock but the sales just kept saying it doesn't looks like it and it might be a defact. Well... the service manager said they will order a new one for me and replace it for free. That's how I got fixed under warrenty.

 

boy u must have paid alot for your car for that kind of treatment....lol

 

Just had mine fixed a few weekends ago. I didn't even think to try having it fixed under warranty because most dealers consider this a "wear and tear" issue. I also had no rock that was obvious, but the round hole in the glass and the shattered bulb pretty much told the story.

I just got my Xpel in the mail and plan to put it on when it stops raining (grrrr....only four rain-free days in May here in Cleveland so far!!!). I hope it works.

 

if anyone is interested i have a friend who is willing to fix stuff like this he can replace the glass with high impact plexglass for like 90 bucks for both sides....let me know if you guys are interested when i get my car immma get this done b4 the glass breaks and blows up the hid imma put in on the fogs.
