Does anyone know what it means when the VSA light is blinking while you step on the gas. I was driving tonight and at a stop light, I gased my TLS and the tires slipped a bit cause the ground was wet after the rain. Then I notice my VSA lights blinking while I was slipping. Should I be concerned about this or is this just the VSA doing it's work?

 

The blinking VSA orange triangle with the exclamation point means the VSA is currently actively engaged in trying to keep the car under control. It will occur if you floor the accelerator or otherwise cause the front tires to lose traction. It is working properly.

 

Now you know why extra horspower in a two wheel drive car has diminishing returns off the line.

yup...i think he means that when you have that much power, its getting wasted if your not getting the traction to the ground

 

when the vsa blinks(the ! light) it engaging!
it happens when you floor the gas causing tires to spin. Or when in the snow and ur tires are losing traction.
and when it blinks along with the d5, you in deep sh*t!

 

yeah.. right.. when it slips.. or when you driving on snow you will see it blinks several times.. because your wheel is slipping.. and it automatically adjust with brakes... or it happens when you drive tight corners.. you will see orange keep blinks
