How many of you TL-ers would put neon under their cars? Not carzy colors, just white, regular light.

I was going to put blue neons under my car but my car is too low. I have no problems with it as long as it is done in good taste. I was only going to turn it on for like a show or a meet. It's just that all those damn ricers make it look bad.

 

 

I don't even have a TL...but putting neons on one is just not right!!!!

 

I hate any external light like hood lights, underbody neons, strobes,.etc........I dont think it is "rice"...........IMHO I just think it is ugly and stupid

 

This topic was discussed several months ago.... Seems like we finally have more people agree putting neons under the car is plain ugly and %@#&*:p

not at a show, not at a meet, in the sky, or on the street. Neons suck.

they look badass you whiners... especially with some large chrome wheels. I would put them on if the ricer crowd wasn't into them soooo much...

I hate those focking blue led windshield sprayers that people put on their hood. THEY ARE SOOOOO GAY.

 

WOW, it seems like no one likes them. i saw a few cars with neons on it and it looked ok, but the rims helps out a lot. strobes are cool, I don't know who it was at the PAA meet that had them on a sliver TL. Thanks for the feedback.

 

Mobber, i am with you on those blue LED washer spray nozzle thingys. What is that supposed to mean anyhow? why would you want to have bright light bulbs in the middle of the hood anyhow? it doesnt highlight any part of the car, doesnt make it look like anything special, its just stupid. BTW, in NY its illegal to have any BLUE lights on your car. Blue is reserved for emergency personnel only. I have read a post of two where some whinny ass is complaining that he got a ticket for having them on his car. I say "GOOD FOR YOU" and "right on there Mr. Policeman, just keep giving them tickets out"!!!! :p

I agree with neons I hatem too, but strobes aren't that bad. I was thinking of them. I really wouldnt use them but mabee if I were to go to a meet or show.

 

Neon's are for kids.

 

well like anything you will find haters and likers. Haters will flame you really hard and those of us that think it can look ok will usualy not say tomuch due to the haters here.

Neon if you like it can look very classy and when used at the right time can be just that perfect little addition to a car. I've always thought of doing it, but I haven't decided weither to do it to a tl or not. I too kinda think it doesn't fit with our cars, but if done right and you like the way it looks then more power to you.

you are the one that has to love the way your car looks and you only. In closing the only thing I will suggest if you decide to go out side the box and do it is to get a good kit and install it right. proper neon install no wires should show nor the tubes just the light they cast. anyways enjoy and good luck if you decide to go with it if not well then hope you find something else to do instead.

The wiper nozzles are really bad...it seems like every ricer around here has one!! Its getting out of control:yack:

 

The neons aren't always considered rice...I was actually considering buying some non rice looking ones and wiring them up with my door trigger to turn on when I open my door...this will inturn light up the ground outside my car. I think it's the Q45 that has these. Speaking of rice, the floor lights in my TL are green...from factory!

 

What is considered rice is only a matter of opinion.

If it makes you happy then get it.

I personally don't like neons all together, but I do like it when the neons are bhind the mesh and you see this glow coming out.

 

Those that have or want to put neon on their TL should ride over to the honda dealership and trade their TL in for a CIVIC. Putting neon on a car like a TL makes me want to :yack:

Um, green floor lights are not factory options you can get for the TL in North America. The only way you would be able to get this is have it imported from Japan and have it installed in your car.

 

i have a set of blue neon...ust waiting to be installed........i think it's goign to look tite with my 19 inch blingbling rims...

for like the purpose of showing everyone what a **** you are? Yes I think they are quite useful.
