Angry Vibration problem

When i had stock rim i felt steering vibration i took my car to the tire shop and did tire balancing and rotation. BUT the steering still vivrates over 80mph. So i went to different shop and did balancing again and guess what? it's still there. What the hell?? I tried new tires and nothing is changes. Then the shop manager said my rim might have bent. SO! i tried new set of RIMS(18") and tires. Guess what? nothing is changed!!! The vivration never goes away!!!!!
Does anybody know??! what to do now!!!
Something wrong w/ suspension!!???
I have comptech spring too and WW body kit and to make it worse, the dealer said my car is too low so they cant touch it.(blaming the body kit is touching the lifting machine.)

Thumbs down

Have the same problem and haven't been able to get rid of it either. Although I was able to get rid of alot of it by doing a good computer balance. Friend of mine works at a great shop and did it for me. Make sure that they verify the balance of the rim with the balance of the tire and center the two. Then add the wieghts!!

It could be the bushings on the steering linkage. Sometimes when they go bad, it will create vibration over a certain speed.

try high speed on car balancing, bmw boy swore by it.

Maybe your wing is putting so much downforce on the rear of the car it's causing your car to vibrate???

I don't have steering vibration but it does vibrate when I step on the brakes. Does this mean my rotors are warped????

Sounds like time for a resurfacing and new pads.

I do, do a search in the MDX forum, it should be there. I don't have it in my camera anymore.
