I've had my '02 ABP TLS for about a month now. I only have one complaint - every time I back out of my driveway in the morning (slight downgrade), I hear a brief vibration in the front left wheel. I only hear it when I back out in the morning - I haven't heard it at any other time. I also don't hear it when I'm driving forward. I've tried backing out with and without the VSA turned on, and also with and without having set the parking brake. Does it every time. Does anyone have any ideas what could be causing this? Could the calipers be binding? I'd like to take it to the dealer, but I doubt that they could reproduce it (since they wouldn't be likely to show up at my house in the morning to hear it ;-).

It is probably your ABS pumping up. Do a search on this site.

If it's a hum that lasts for a couple seconds coming from right behind the drivers side dash, it's likely the ABS.

 

Agreed. It's just the ABS unit initializing. Don't sweat it.
