does ss help accelerate faster than regular drive ? tls 03 . if so how does it?

 

nope. SS is only good for selecting the gear you want before passing or if your doing spirited driving on twisty roads

 

careful with your tranny when u use SS

 

it doesnt make a difference. many have had their trannies die and never have used SS

it's damn useful on hwy with passing

when u drop 5th to 3rd at 60mph and storm it up to 105mph

 

^^ That kills the gas soo much.. I use to do that when I got onto the highway..but then I started to realize how fast the needle was going down. After I floored it one time..the gas needle when hella down...pretty bad stuff.

 

I only use SS. I like being able to shift the gears on my own.

 

Use SS when you wanna own someone . Or when you wanna play around with your vtec. It's fun! But oh boy does the gas needle go down fast when you're in SS.
