URGENT! removing sideskirts

hey guys i need help ASAP. I'm trying to remove the sideskirts and for some reason I can't get the 4 expansion clips off the bottom of the skirt. The "pin" part of the expansion clips looks like a screw, but when i turn it, it doesn't come out, it just turns. I tried wedging a flathead in between the pin and the outer part of the clip in attempts to pop out the pin but the pin is so flush with the rest of the clip that it's impossible. Then, i tried just yanking the whole clip out as an assembly, and it doesnt work. i need help!

It sounds like the "screw" is stripped. Try wedging the sharp end of a utility knife (Swiss army type or cheap knock-off works) between the "screw" and the outer edge of the clip. Once you've got it in there, take the screwdriver with your other hand and start to unscrew it while simultaneously prying the "screw" out with the knife. It should start to come out. Hope this helps.
