underbody kit????
Well I'm planning on getting my '02 Black TL-S in a couple weeks and kinda confused on if I should get the factory underbody kit. I seen it on a silver TL-S but not black. So i come to you guys who are experienced in the TL-S and ask what should I do????Go with the underbody kit or not????Does anyone have a good pic. of a black TL-S with the factory underbodykit.
Thanks
Thanks

The kit DOES make the car look a lot more aggressive. It's very tasteful and understated, but you will know it's there. And you'll never get a factory-like fit from an aftermarket company. Tim sells them cheap and it's worth every penny.
You may want to try searching the Gallery for a Black TL-S with the kit.. I'm sure someone has posted one.

Hey quick question to you body kit owners...
I've been wanting one so bad hahaha.....
yet how many of you actually bottom out or have scraped your lower front lip? I don't have a kit yet and I've already munched it a few times...I want to get the kit to cover it up ....but what's the use if I munch that even more
HELP~!~!

It's personal taste.
I happen to think the kit looks too much like an add on as opposed to a part of the car; especially the front lip which points outward.
I think your money is better spent getting the car lowered.
Also, there is a wingwest kit that also looks alright.
Once again, it's just a preference issue, go with what YOU like.

I have scraped the bodykit once but I was trying to get around somone to make a right hand turn and my wheel went into a pretty deep hole, but thats it. I have the bodykit and springs and I still clear normal size curbs when parking, etc.

I have the body lit and springs, no scrapes yet. Just be careful.
If you really want to get noticed, the kit is a real eye catcher.
People don't even know what kind of car it is when they see it. It makes the stock TL(S) look plain.

I basically feel like volkracing does. I dont currently have the body kit on my ABP TLS, but I think they look REALLY SWEET! But Im also concerned with scraping it or running it up on a curb while parking. Its not like Im a totally lousy driver or anything, but my front lip already has some scratches under it. oh well WTH, Im going to get one. Maybe right after I buy it I should start saving up for a new front piece!
